In our upcoming May/June 2011 issue of New England Home, we feature Mary and Jeff Crowe’s house in Vermont. The residents called on TruexCullins Architecture and Interior Design to build their lakeside Shingle-style home.

What I love most about this house is the high ceilings and the huge windows that let in the natural light and surroundings.

The house, which consists of two structures (one for Jeff and Mary and the other for their daughter) linked by a common entryway, was originally planned to be just a vacation home. But they were so in love with the plans that they decided to sell their Florida home and live here year-round.
