All nominations must be received by 5:00 PM EST, Friday, January 23, 2026.

ELIGIBILITY

• Nominees must be residential design professionals in one of the following categories:
  • Architecture
  • Interior design
  • Landscape design
  • Specialty design (kitchen and bath design, furniture, lighting, accessories, or other home-design products)
• Nominees must demonstrate work of the highest quality
• Nominees must live, work, or have a fully-staffed office located in New England
• Nominees must be under 40 years of age as of September 16, 2026

SUBMISSION OF MATERIALS

To be considered for the 2026 awards, all submission materials (listed below) must be sent as a single PDF to eostrovsky@nehomemag.com no later than 5:00 p.m. EST, Friday, February 6, 2026

• An outline of your career and professional accomplishments
• Descriptions and up to 10 photos of 5-8 projects that best represent the quality of your work. Include an outline of the scope of the project, location, dates, other professionals involved, and an explanation of your role in the project. Please clarify the level of collaboration with other design professionals involved, where applicable.
  • Please be sure that past and/or present employers grant permission to share work completed while under their employment as your own.
• Any additional information the judging committee should consider (such as clips of media coverage, awards, and letters of recommendation)

• Wednesday, March 4: Rug Design Seminar, Boston
• Thursday, April 9 Champagne Reception, Boston

• Thursday, September 17: 5 Under 40 Awards Celebration & Rug Auction, Boston
