Notes from the Field: The Autumn Blues
October 22, 2012
By Cheryl Katz That air. Those leaves. Caramel apples, Halloween costumes and the need for chunky sweaters–what could be better? The autumn blues. I don’t mean that I’m sorry to see summer fade or that I’m longing for winter. On the contrary, I’m talking about the current embrace of an old favorite. This season, blue has never looked better or been more in evidence. Azure, indigo, midnight, ocean, navy, pool, teal–take your pick. The autumn blues? Right up there with pumpkin patches, apple cider and acorns. Farrow and Ball’s latest range –from the palest to the deepest blues.
