What, When, Where: Florals for Spring

There’s a line in the movie The Devil Wears Prada when Meryl Streep’s character, a hard-to-please magazine editor, scoffs at the suggestion of creating a spring editorial around an obvious theme. “Florals for Spring?†she deadpans, “Groundbreaking.â€
Still, there are few things more symbolic of the winter thaw than the popping up of flora and fauna–both in the natural world and the material one. So, at the risk of perpetuating a cliché, I’ve gathered some of the prettiest floral-printed items I’ve seen lately, each of which puts a decidedly different spin on the theme.
