Wakefield Design Center’s To The Trade Only Market Day – Come see Erin Gates and More

Next Thursday there are a number of design luminaries taking over Wakefield Design in Stamford, Connecticut, for their To the Trade Days, but one in particular has lower Fairfield County a buzz.

Joining Jamie Drake, Elizabeth Pyne, Tilton Fenwick and a number of other big names is Boston-based designer, blogger and New York Times best-selling author Erin Gates. Last fall Erin released her first book on decorating titled after her blog of the same name, Elements of Style. Her nation-wide book-tour sold out in multiple cities and had people lined up around the block to meet her.

Loved for her soul-baring posts on her life, her acerbic fashion critiques (watch out red carpet!) and her decorating discourse, Erin has amassed an enormous following world-wide. This is the only Connecticut stop on her book tour and there is VERY limited seating so right now would be the time to sign up by emailing staff@imagesanddetails.com. Before the book signing I’ll be doing a Q&A with Erin about connecting with your clients through social media. There are other great reasons to attend the day including another book signing by Steven Stolman, author of 40 Years of Fabulous The Kips Bay Decorator Show House, so plan to attend from 12:30-5:15 that day.
