Sneak Peek: Summer Place Settings

I love a good fabric. It is well known in our office that if a first-rate fabric sample comes across someone’s desk it will inevitably end up in my collection. I have high hopes for turning my assortment of samples into a quilt or something similar–but for the time being they all live in a giant bag (another supplied sample) in my office.
In our summer issue of New England Home Connecticut we asked three designers to give us their perspective on outdoor dining. One of the elements we asked for was an outdoor table linen. Designer Shelly Linder told us about these beautiful napkins and placemats from Serena & Lily. (By the way, our associate editor, Kara Lashley, shared more outdoor dining picks by these three designers in her post this past Monday.)

The Corsica linens have a bright and fresh pattern that screams summer. They are vibrant and modern, with a hint of Art Nouveau. They are also block-printed by hand so each piece has a casual uniqueness. It doesn’t get more summery than that.
If you are interested in using these linens in one of your projects, they also offer free fabric swatches through their website…just saying.
