Refreshing a Classic

The engaging house story in the November/December issue of New England Home is, quite literally, a tale of two cities. The couple purchased their first Boston-area home in just one weekend, but they took their time when it came to finding the place that would eventually become their dream home—an original 1964 Royal Barry Wills design that straddles both Wellesley and Weston, Massachusetts. The couple poured heart and soul into its renovation, a true transformation that could not have taken place without experts Mally Skok, a designer friend, architect Chip Dewing, and builder Chris Hart. The team worked its magic, which included an inventive build-out, fabulous custom fabrics and pops of color everywhere. The end result is a delicate balance of old and new, traditional and modern. This is a story you won’t want to miss! Find the issue on newsstands November 11.
