Notes from the Field: Creative Evolution

I’ve never met Patrick Ganino, but after numerous phone conversations regarding interior design clients, I was fascinated to learn about his other business: a mural decorative painting company called Creative Evolution. Earlier in my career I, too, devoted time creating murals for clients, and so I’m always interested in seeing other painters’ work.

I was floored by Patrick’s extraordinary body of work and not surprised to learn of his many commissions both in the residential and retail markets.

Patrick is widely recognized as an innovative and talented decorative artist. His clients have included successful business owners, restaurateurs, celebrities and high-profile interior designers in New England. Mural painting is a good way to add ingenuity and individuality to your interiors. Patrick’s artistic talent permits him to work in a wide range of styles and techniques.

This mural, which cleverly includes portraits of the owner and her family, painted for the Madison Beach Hotel Bar in Madison, Connecticut, is a great conversation piece!

A client with French connection hired him to add a bit of a Paris to their entertainment room. I love this bold, graphic design approach.

Befitting a library, interior designer Sharon McCormick asked Patrick to create this “map of the world” ceiling mural, which brings drama to the room.

Landscapes have always been a traditional mural approach. Designer Pam Gugliotta asked Patrick to recreate this familiar landmark for a local Ridgefield, Connecticut business.

Some people just want to have fun!

How about you? What type of mural would you hire Patrick to create?
