The more homes I visit, or see on the pages of magazines, the surer I am that antiques bring warmth and integrity to any space. Even the most contemporary interiors just feel better with an elegant antique or vintage piece thrown into the mix. So I was pleased to see that the Boston Design Center recently opened Market Stalls, a 10,000 square foot market featuring the wares of over fifteen Boston-area antique dealers.
I visited the stalls on the first day they opened, and I was thrilled to see so many local dealers in one space. There is a very nice curated collection of antique furnishings, artwork, and accessories at a wide variety of price points. You could find a find an English antique desk, rustic French country commode, or some vintage marine lanterns.
The Market Stalls are located on the second floor of the Innovation and Design Building and are open to the public. There is staff on hand to answer questions and assist you with your purchase.
Here are some photos I snapped back in May.
