Julieann Covino: Built-in Blessings
September 4, 2012
Just the mere sound of the two words “built in†can make a potential home buyer sign on the dotted line. These seven letters can evoke such comfort and charm. Used to maximize a space, elongate a room, create storage or just add detail to a room, the purpose is endless.
With homework season in full swing, a built-in office wall is the perfect place for a student to study. Not only does it keep everything organized (and behind closed doors!) it will create an easy flow in any open area.

By flanking a fireplace with closed or open storage you will create an even cozier space and ample room for throws and board games.

If you are a vintage tablecloth, tableware-loving (some would say obsessive) collector like myself, this image will make your heart beat right out of your chest. What I would do for an extra-wide built in like this. Well I guess it would just mean my Brimfield allowance just became larger! Heavenly, right?

Would you chose to have a built in created in your home?
