Whether it’s time to replace your range or design your dream kitchen, you may be overwhelmed by the many appliance options available today. The key to selecting the appliances that fit your lifestyle is to have a trusted expert by your side. Clarke is a remarkable resource where knowledge and expertise are always on the menu, and a showroom appointment may include a Wolf Convection Steam Oven test-drive or an on-the-spot demonstration of induction cooking. When it comes to food preservation, you’ll see more models of Sub-Zero refrigerators, freezers, and wine storage at Clarke than anywhere in New England. That’s a fact.
New England’s Kitchen Inspiration for 35 Years
Over the past 35 years, Clarke has opened three stunning showrooms in Massachusetts and Connecticut and won every accolade in the design industry. It has partnered with designers throughout the region to create dozens of full-scale dream kitchens to inspire showroom visitors. “Built-in appliances don’t look like much until you see them in a designed environment,” says Clarke Corporate Director of Showrooms Marco Barallon. “That’s why we’re passionate about creating inspiring kitchens in our showrooms, to allow designers and homeowners to envision how these appliances will look in their kitchens.”

Beyond how wonderful Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances look, not to mention the value they add to your home, the real story is in their performance. That’s why Clarke has invested in chefs for decades. Clarke recently hired Chef Vanessa Ali as its first culinary director to coordinate the chefs and culinary activities in the showrooms and at off-site events. Chef Ali’s extensive experience at Johnson & Wales University, in concert with delivering a decade of national culinary presentations and product demonstrations, has given her the expertise to work with chefs and homeowners to create delicious, nutritious food from around the world.
Clarke Offers So Many Ways to Learn

You are welcome to stop by a Clarke showroom to browse, or you can make an appointment to ensure a Clarke showroom associate is available to give you undivided attention. “At Clarke, we know tasting is believing,” shares Chef Ali. “So when you’re making your final decisions on which Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances to include in your project, we invite you to our Chef’s Table, which is a two-hour Wolf product demonstration. This gives you the opportunity to see various Wolf appliances in action, taste the results, and ask questions that will help you understand what will work best for you and your family. You’ll learn about options like Wolf’s M Series Oven with its fifty-plus modes that practically cook for you.”
In addition to Clarke’s chef demonstrations, the showrooms offer Wolf convection steam oven demonstrations where you can take a deep dive into the appliance that is most often added to kitchen wish lists once it is seen in action. “Many homeowners have never worked with a steam oven,” explains Chef Ali. “Wolf makes it so easy, and homeowners are grateful that they learned about this versatile oven before they planned their kitchen. It can be used as a traditional convection oven, for roasting, and for baking. It can also be used as a steam oven where you can hold steam at temperatures above and below the boiling point of water, so foods like fish cook in the gentle environment that they require. Plus, you can combine steam and convection cooking to prepare perfect vegetables, breads, pastries, pastas, roasts, and more. Homeowners are always blown away when they see it in action.”
No Pressure, Just Education and Inspiration

The icing on the cake is the fact that none of these tours, consultations, or demonstrations will cost you anything. Clarke doesn’t sell appliances, so there is never any pressure to buy. As a brand ambassador, Clarke exists to inform homeowners about the power and versatility of these appliances and help them make the right choice for their home. If you would like to purchase something that you see, your Clarke showroom consultant will refer you to a trusted retail dealer in your area who will work through pricing, warrantees, and delivery details. And once you are a Sub-Zero, Wolf, or Cove owner, you are welcome to come back to the showroom any time for additional advice about your appliances or to attend additional cooking demonstrations.
“We have homeowners who contact our chefs for recipe advice or use and care questions months, even years, after they purchase their appliances,” says Chef Ali. “Clarke President Sean Clarke likes to say that when you buy Sub-Zero, Wolf, or Cove in New England, you have a personal chef to answer your questions for as long as you own your appliances.”
