I love pulling together the New in the Showrooms pages of the magazine because I get a sneak peak at all the latest and greatest products for the home. There is one minor downside, however, only a fraction of all the gorgeous new finds can fit in the magazine.
I’m still pining after this lamp, the “Simone†by Wildwood, that came across my desk over the summer. I love the sky-blue hue, a perfect pick-me-up for the long winter days ahead. The silhouette is elegant and the detailing just right: note the metallic cuff motif in a Greek key pattern and the bell-shaped shade in dupioni silk.
I want it. No, I need it.

I know some people are packing up their outdoor furniture, and prepping their patios for winter, but believe me when I say–this is the time to be outdoors– fall in New England. And as I was saying yesterday, if you’re going to be spending the time outside, you should do so in style (and comfort). Here is an outdoor daybed that fits that bill perfectly. What better way to spend a fall day that sprawled out daybed? Plus this pieces is part of a great set of furniture from Janus et Cie, so you could decorate your entire yard.
