Wouldn’t this 1940s faux-bamboo bench make a fine perch for whiling away a quiet summer afternoon? I’d station it near the garden and top the caned seat with a couple of cozy pillows. You’ll find this sweet piece and other vintage objects of desire at the Antique & Artisan Center in Stamford, Connecticut.

Bigger is better. At least when you’re talking about the new home of Pimlico in New Canaan, Connecticut. Owners Melissa Lindsay and Jill Saunders didn’t move far from their previous location (about a block away), but the new space at 48 Elm Street affords them more room to play, mixing art, furniture, accessories, jewelry and gifts.

I was on the Filzfelt Facebook page a few days ago and saw these amazing felt stools that the company displayed at NeoCon in Chicago last week. They are bright and fun–and also repurposed from felt scraps. Knoll opened the new location of its Boston showroom last week with plenty of Filzfelt products on display. I’m not sure if these stools made it into the showroom, but with all the attention they got at NeoCon, it might only be a matter of time.
