Outdoor rooms are all the rage and Restoration Hardware helps you create one instantly with their new Luna Daybed. The large piece has seating for a crowd complete with comfy all weather cushions. The cushions come in a wide variety of fabrics, but I think these simple white ones would be hard to beat!
This just may be the perfect spot for a summer siesta.

Linda Lane knows fabric. An interior designer, furniture and fabric designer for years, she’s just come out with her own line of gorgeous designs that are so new they aren’t even up on her web site yet. Made in the USA of a durable poly-cotton mix, they have a wonderful feel to them and the multiple color ways and designs have inspired my next project!

One of the Bruce Museum’s most engaging exhibitions in recent memory (and there have been many) is Pasture to Pond: Connecticut Impressionism, a collection of Connecticut landscapes painted by noted American artists. It’s a show you won’t want to miss—and time is running out, as it closes on June 22. The gifted impressionist painters whose works are included in the exhibit (among them Childe Hassam, J. Alden Weir and Leonard Ochtman) saw incomparable beauty in Connecticut’s countryside, farms, hills, rivers and shoreline. It’s an understatement to say they did the landscapes justice. This celebration of impressionism is drawn from the permanent collection of the Bruce, private collectors, area museums, and the trade. The Bruce Museum is located at One Museum Drive in Greenwich, Conn. Call (203) 869-0376 or visit the museum’s website for more information.
