“It’s no coincidence the spaces Kennebunkport logo is turquoise,” says Nicki Bongiorno. Both she and Anna Dixon—co-owners of the shop that’s been offering its unique lineup of pretty, fun and stylish things for the home since 2008—count it among their favorite colors.

Almost any shade that recalls the sea and sky near their Maine shop makes the pair happy. Nicki, who was a featured designer for Perspectives in our March/April issue, shows off  a handful of the shop’s newest products, all in varying shades of blue.

“Classic with a little edge is a combination we love,” Nicki says. “These Christen Maxwell pillows add sheen and texture to any decor but are understated and timeless.”

Lou Lou, the children’s version of Philippe Starck’s famous Louis Ghost Chair, is perfect indoors or out. “It’s never too early to own a piece of iconic furniture,” says Nicki. And what child wouldn’t love a Blabla bunny as a playmate?

The American Cocktail, from Chronicle Books, is our current go-to for drink recipes, and we love mixing them up in this hip W+P mason jar cocktail shaker. Mine with tequila, please.” Nicki also suggests keeping some fun decorative cocktail napkins, like these from Casparis, on hand for impromptu parties.

“We believe a touch of scent and low light go a long way toward making a house feel like home. The Lollia soy candle by Margot Elena is available in soft, fresh fragrances and comes in beautiful decorative boxes colored according to scent.”

Here’s a great combo for a bedside table. “A photo of someone special in Shiraleah’s circle frame, Roost votive candles for ambience and a wood tray from Marimi to hold small accessories are just right to send you off to a dreamy slumber,” Nicki assures us.
