Design in Depth: Scenes of Spring
May 15, 2013
By Stacy Kunstel
Over the past few weeks I’ve watched as people posted a plethora of spring photos to Intstagram and Facebook. Yards blooming with candy colored tulips, lilacs so beautiful you can practically smell them and handfuls of lily of the valley have all been well documented.
Spring is such a spectacular time of the year yet it’s a hard one for us to sometimes capture in the magazine. Photo shoots are typically planned months in advance and there’s no real way of knowing whether or not that azalea bush will be in bloom or if the trees are going to look more June than April depending on the weather. This spring has been long and chilly. I hope we’ve at least captured a few houses that sing the praises of the season. Here are a few scenes that just say spring.
