Artful Holiday Shopping in Connecticut

For those of us with the best of intentions (and busy work/holiday schedules), there’s good news from the Guilford Art Center in Guilford, Connecticut. The next two Fridays have been earmarked just for us. Dec. 4 and Dec. 11 have been designated “Friday Nights at Artistry.” It’s an opportunity to sip wine, make a simple holiday craft with a Guilford instructor, and shop mindfully during evening hours (5:30 to 8 p.m.) at the center’s annual holiday sale. From ceramics, glass, and fiber to ornaments, accessories, and toys, the works of more than 250 artists are featured at Artistry. Regular Artistry hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 12-5 p.m. Guilford Art Center is located at 411 Church Street, Guilford, Connecticut (exit 58 off I-95).
