New England Home and the Wakefield Design Center will be hosting a Day of Design for area interior designers on Thursday, November 13 at the Stamford, Connecticut showroom. The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. and wrap-up with a reception at 5:45 p.m.
Here are just a few highlights from the event:

He will also be available to sign his new book Barry Dixon Inspirations.
Do men and women approach design differently? What is masculine and feminine interior design? Sam Allen, Antonino Buzzetta, and Eddie Lee will join moderator Stacey Bewkes for a discussion on the male designers point of view.
New England Home’s editor-in-chief Kyle Hoepner will join designer and author Trudy Dujardin for a Q & A. Dujardin is a pioneer in sustainable and healthy design and she will be sharing her thoughts and insights into designing beautiful homes in an environmentally-friendly way. She will sign copies of her book Comfort Zone: Creating an Eco-Elegant Interior at a wine reception following the discussion.
Karin Lidbeck Brent and Stacy Kunstel will be on hand from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to review projects for consideration in upcoming issues. Bring your portfolio and snap shots to share with Karin and Stacy.
