Take a Seat 2017 has hit the road and there is still time to see the chairs prior to the gala and live auction on June 1.
Take a Seat features up-cycled chairs redesigned by design professionals such as builders, craftsman, and interior designers. The furniture is created from an existing chair or built from recycled materials. This year’s submissions are better than ever, and there is a chair to appeal to every design-style.

Here are just a few of the twenty-three chairs created for the 2017 event:

For the first time, the public has the ability to bid on the chairs prior to the gala on June 1. Now is your chance to own a bespoke chair created by the region’s top design professionals and support some deserving charities.

Proceeds from the sale of the chairs crafted in New England will benefit local charities including Friends of the Children, The Lyceum Fellowship, and Women’s Institute for Housing & Economic Development.
