Wakefield Design Center’s To The Trade Only Day is well known for bringing design stars to Fairfield County, but their upcoming To The Trade Only Day may be their most star-studded yet. The afternoon event gives designers a chance to learn about the latest trends in home furnishings, enjoy talks by leading national designers, get some of the hottest interior design books signed by their authors, and earn CEUs. There is even an opportunity to have your design portfolio reviewed by the editorial staff at New England Home.
The event will take place on November 5 and kicks-off at noon with a talk by stylist, and style maker, Eddie Ross. Ross will talk about his book Modern Mix and share insider secrets for discovering chic finds for the home.
Next up is Chicago-based interior designer Julia Buckingham. Buckingham shares her secrets for how she took her successful design business to the next level. Her approach to life and her business is so clear, she even has a name for it—Modernique.
Robert Couturier is taking a break from traveling the globe working on projects for his jet-setting clients to sit down and chat with New England Home’s editor-in-chief Kyle Hoepner. The two will discuss Courturier’s design approach and insight on living a well-lived life.
Wakefield Design Center’s To the Trade Only Day wraps-up with the ever-charming Thom Filicia talking about what he’s been up to including a new collection of furniture and artwork for the Thom Filicia Home Collection.
If you are a Connecticut-based interior designer, clear your calendar for the afternoon of November 5 and join New England Home and the Wakefield Design Center team. The event begins at 12 p.m. and will wrap up at 4 p.m. You can have your portfolio reviewed any time between 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Please RSVP to staff@imagesanddetails.com
