Celebrate Autumn!

For the next few weeks we will all be immersed in the beauty of fall foliage. I can’t resist the temptation to cut the colorful branches this time of year and use them to create seasonal decorations. Working with fall foliage is easy—so grab your garden clippers and have some fun!
Bringing leaves to your front door can be a great idea for a fall party. To get this look I made small holes in the top of the pumpkins with a screwdriver then simply pushed the branches into the pumpkin to hold.
It only takes two or three branches to make a beautiful statement. The center of your dining table is perfect for an autumn display of maple leaves.
A few yellow leaves mixed with other plant materials add a simple accent.
You can embellish just about anything with fall foliage and bring attention to the things you love. These small cuttings of leaves are tucked behind a plaque I created for Country Living magazine using a vintage tray as a door decoration.
Let your imagination go and create some beautiful spaces for autumn celebration. Enjoy the season!
