Birds of a Feather

It’s true, that come fall—and with evening temperatures hovering near 60 degrees there’s no denying it’s on the way—things will change. Leaves will turn color. Ripe tomatoes, blueberries, and corn on the cob will vanish from farm stands. Birds will fly south.
But there’s no need to fret. Trees ablaze with color will line the streets. There’ll be apple pies and sweet potatoes. And our feathered friends? Their likeness will light up a room, cover a chair, line the walls, sit on the desk, or adorn a piece of clothing.
