I hear murmurs of people saying they’re over ikat, but it’s just not happening for me. The colorful pattern stops me in my tracks every time as it did in the Currey & Company showroom at the AmericasMart in Atlanta this week. Red with splashes of black and white, this lamp is so much more interesting than any other single-hued vessel. Perfect for a colorful guest room or by the sofa, I think this is an ikat that continues to thrive.

January is without question the best month in which to purchases linens—from bedding to towels. And Lynnens, a one-of-a-kind shop offering luxury linens of all kinds, is one of my favorite places to find them. Established in 1980 and tucked neatly into the high-end shopping mecca that is Greenwich Avenue, Lynnens carries the finest cotton bedding and bath products, as well Irish and Italian table linens—and some of the loveliest lingerie. Can it get any better? Yes! Custom embroidery and monogramming are also available. Lynnens, Inc., is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For more information, visit lynnens.com or call 866-629-3659.
