Editor’s Miscellany: Playing Hooky
November 8, 2012
By Kyle Hoepner
Playing hooky? Really? Well, not quite. But I am taking a very brief break from posting, just for this one week. Preparations for tonight’s New England Design Hall of Fame, combined with several other industry and community commitments, have for the moment added up to more than even the most conscientious editor could manage. (We also have some special plans in intensive development for our upcoming January/February and Connecticut Winter issues–more on that later.)
So please forgive the momentary interruption in our daily posting schedule, and, if you like, check out one of these seasonally appropriate houses just added to our website:
Once More to the Lake: At lightning speed, a design duo lightens, brightens and personalizes a New Hampshire cabin, creating a getaway to foster years of sweet family memories.
Sophistication on the Slopes: A Vermont getaway home nods to traditional mountain style on the outside and opens to an interior that’s the epitome of casual elegance.
Nurtured by Nature:Â A contemporary house in the suburbs of Boston is both a testament to human ingenuity and a celebration of the natural world.
Thanks for your indulgence, and see you again in two weeks!
