Julieann Covino: The Best of Fall Bedding
September 18, 2012
The start of fall might still be a few days away but many of my clients have already called asking for fall bedding ideas. With the start of the school year, many people (myself included) feel this is the time to refresh your home. It’s so much fun pulling out the fall decorations, swapping out the lightweight linen panels for heavier versions and adding a cozy wool throw to every chair and sofa in sight! Home decor items seem to become comfier and heavier once September hits and bedding is no exception. Below are a few of my favorite ready-made duvets, some are a bit trendy and a few are updates on favorite patterns. Here’s to making the transition from warm summer nights to chilly fall ones just a bit easier.
Barbara Barry‘s luxurious “Indochine” bedding collection would gain the approval of both men and women.

The color of the year continues with the white and tangerine “Modern Border” bedding from Dwell Studio.

West Elm‘s “Atlas” duvet cover in cinnamon is a new take on the ever popular chevron pattern.

Matouk’s gorgeous “Mirasol” bedding in navy and white will carry that crisp feel of summer right through the fall.

The warm marine, coral and sea glass colors of Peacock Alley’s “Catalina” duvet would add a burst of color and pattern to any bedroom.
