Firm Profile
Nancy Stracka Interiors is a full-service interior design firm
that has delighted clients throughout New England since 1989.
She was honored with the Best of Boston Home award by
Boston Magazine in 2008 for “interiors that are consistently
color-conscious, luxurious and filled with rich textures.” She
has been a member of the prestigious Designer On Call program
at the Boston Design Center since 2006, and she was featured
in Rhode Island Monthly magazine in 2007 as a judge for
their annual design awards. Nancy is a second-generation interior
designer following in the footsteps of her mother who ran a
successful interior design business in the 1970s and 1980s. She
began her career as a fabric designer in New York City designing
home and apparel fabrics for Halston, Mary McFadden and
Schumacher.
Nancy’s design aesthetic is grounded in her passion for beautiful
fabrics, art, antiques and decorative accessories. This is
balanced by an experienced design team that can create modern
and architecturally inspired interiors.
Senior Interior Designer Jennifer Brown is a highly skilled technical kitchen
and bathroom specialist who has designed custom kitchens and
cabinetry for nationally known companies including
Christopher Peacock and Siematic. Principal and husband Jeff
Stracka manages day-to-day operations and project management.
Nancy can work with both traditional and modern interiors
and does not try to project a particular style; instead she
works with her clients to help them find a style that is personal,
comfortable and luxurious.
The firm has long-standing relationships with architects, contractors,
cabinet makers and artisans to allow for easy execution
of any type of interior, renovation, kitchen or bathroom project.
